How Victory Index Works

A sophisticated composite ranking system that evaluates college teams across football, basketball, and baseball using wins, efficiency, strength of schedule, and momentum.

1. Data Pipeline

Weekly performance data is collected from official sources and normalized for fair comparison.

2. Multi-Factor Model

Five core components are weighted and combined into a single Victory Index score.

3. Dynamic Ranking

Ranks update weekly to reflect current form and performance.

Victory Index = 0.35×Winning + 0.25×Offense + 0.20×Defense + 0.12×Momentum + 0.08×Strength
